We have been established since 1953 when Ronald Ware the founder of our piano business completed his apprenticeship at Hickies & Hickies music shop Boscombe, Dorset where his master could also trace his learning lineage back to the 19th century. We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges, and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. Our experience and expertise is second to none. We sell only Pianos; your piano purchase is special to us and would love to continue the after care for years to come! Also, if you’re within 30 miles we offer two free tunings!
Yamaha U2 pianos are very rare in the UK and we don’t see many, especially in such wonderful unused internal condition! The casework is in good condition with a few minor marks here and there but nothing that detracts from the main visual appeal that is in a warm Brown Mahogany. We are surprised by how good condition the action/internals are in for an over 50 year old piano. The piano is at A440 pitch and has been finely regulated. Yamaha U series pianos are hugely popular and an easy secure purchase for nervous piano buyers who are unsure of what piano brand to purchase.
