A very high quality upright piano by John Broadwood & Son, this company is one of the oldest piano manufacturers in the world. This model was produced by the British Piano Manufacturing Company which among other companies included Welpdale Maxwell & Cod who produced the Welmar. This piano is superior to the Welmar piano and more nearer the quality of a Bluthner/Bechstein. Fantastic depth of tone and extremely expressive touch for an upright piano, very well balanced. We stock new Kawai K500 pianos and this is better than those.

This piano had hardly been used in its few 24 years and is in mint condition. It has brass castors and an extra long music desk. It’s in high gloss Walnut case which in itself is rare in these days of black pianos.

We are always interested in these late model Broadwood pianos.
