Why buy from us?We have been established since 1953, when Ronald Ware, the founder of our piano business, completed his apprenticeship at Hickies & Hickies music shop in Boscombe, Dorset where his master could also trace his learning lineage back to the 19th century. We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. Our experience and expertise are second to none. We sell only Pianos; your piano purchase is special to us and would love to continue the aftercare for years to come! You won’t find many of these young Zimmermann pianos for sale as they are keepers.
In high gloss c2003 in great condition hardly used made in Germany and German design by the high quality Bechstein piano company.
Everything you would expect from one of the worlds premier piano makers, a gorgeous European tone and very responsive touch. Standing at 115cm it has a full tone and easily is an equal to Yamaha P116, at a huge fraction of the cost. A Yamaha P116 of around the same manufacturing date sell at around £4K – £6k.
Braced back helping with tuning stability and tone. Third practice pedal to soften those practicing mistakes. Under felting on all the hammer heads creating that gorgeous tone.
We are happy to give a virtual zoom/FaceTime etc viewing and play during lockdown as with all our pianos. We can also record it playing for you and send it to your preferred contact.
